Eligibility Criteria for Membership by Election

Trainees of the College automatically become members after passing the prescribed membership examination of the College. Please see the Constitution for more detailed information. Three categories of membership can be applied online. These are Member  Specialist, Associate Member, and Affiliate Member.

Eligibility Criteria for Ordinary Fellowship by-Election

To be considered for Ordinary Fellowship by-Election, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Shall be Registered Obstetricians/Gynecologists in their home country.

Should only be proposed and seconded by fully paid-up Fellows of the College (ECSACOG).

  • Upon acceptance of your application, a Fellowship Registration Fee of $300 is required. This fee covers administrative costs and supports the ongoing activities of our organization.

  • Payment can be conveniently made online through our secure portal or by transferring the funds to the college bank account. Instructions for payment will be provided upon acceptance of your application.

  • In addition to the registration fee, an Annual Membership Subscription Fee of $100 is applicable. This fee ensures your continued access to ECSACOG membership benefits and resources throughout the year.

Please have a recent passport-style photo saved in an electronic format

Obtain reference letters from two ECSACOG Fellows who support your application. These letters should highlight your qualifications and suitability for membership.

Application Information:

  1. Complete the online application form.
  2. Upload your passport-style photo.
  3. Attach the reference letters from two ECSACOG Fellows.
  4. Await confirmation of your application status.

Eligibility Requirements:

The candidate shall be one of the following:

  • Fully paid up for at least the previous 5 years.
  • Significant contributions to the College, demonstrated through activities such as presentations in ECSACOG scientific sessions, training, examinations, organizing ECSACOG/Local chapter meetings, and other activities aligned with the College’s objectives.
  • Possess at least 10 years of active Obstetrics/Gynaecological practice after qualification.
  • Have a record of 3 or more verifiable scientific presentations at ECSACOG meetings or publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

Candidates meeting these criteria are invited to apply for Ordinary Fellowship by-Election. The selection process aims to recognize individuals who have made substantial contributions to the field and align with the values and objectives of ECSACOG.
