From September 4-6, 2024, ECSACOG Conducted the Training of Trainers course at Nakuru County Referral Hospital. This three-day program aimed to strengthen the capacity of healthcare professionals in training and mentoring future specialists, with a focus on improving the quality of healthcare delivery in the region. By equipping specialists with advanced training skills, the program aims to contribute to the long-term improvement of healthcare services, ultimately helping to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates in the region.
The course was attended by 22 participants, including 20 specialists from various hospitals across Kenya and 2 specialists from Tanzania. This ToT course is part of ECSACOG’s ongoing efforts to build the capacity of trainers at its training sites. We look forward to the continued growth in the number of specialists across the region as we work towards training more experts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care for women and their families.
